Home & Online Schooling
Don't let COVID-19 disrupt your child's education or access to additional support.
The Sennies team sends love to our entire community in this uncertain time.
It is no surprise we want to continue helping all families however we can during a time no one could predict.
Therefore we have started our new Home and Online Schooling Initiative and have opened a FREE Forum with access to Qualified Teachers who have offered to answer academic questions during school closures.
We have registered over 200 : Online Application
SEN professionals ( SEN Teachers, Speech and Language Therapists, ABA tutors, experienced 1:1’s )
...In the last 48 hours, ready to match with families of ALL abilities (SEN and Non SEN) to support studies and childcare following school closures announcements. We are here as and when you need us.
Every family has different requirements and will feel differently about inviting someone into their home, hence the option for online lessons.
Please get in touch if you need any form of support for your child/children during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are here to assist you on a personalised basis to find the right care to help with current limitations.
Students are expected to keep up with their studies, regardless of if exams go ahead this summer. It is integral they do not lose touch with the routine of education or miss out on valuable learning that they will need later in life. This makes our Tutor program imperative for many students in all key stages (SATS, GCSEs, BTEC and A Levels).
Things to note:
All Interviews will be held via video call
We recommend families and their new employee take a 5 day self isolation period prior to beginning a new role if you chose to have your child home schooled instead of opting for a video lesson
We understand some children will gain no benefit from a video lesson and can facilitate finding you the help you need whilst ensuring everyone stays as safe as possible
All positions will be temporary to ensure things can go back to normal as soon as physically possible
If your children need any form of support from academic to therapy intervention, please email and we can discuss the best way to assist you.
Please check out our FREE Teacher Forum where you can ask qualified teachers from specific Ket Stages question you or your child have about academic work.
We will be actively posting to our online blog as of next week, to share home based activities and ways to help make self isolation more manageable. the blog will still focus on SEN and as soon as everything goes back to normal Sennies will return to specialising in SEN Childcare.
