Sennie (SEN SPECIALIST NANNY/MANNY) for B8, G5, B2
 
Additional needs present: Autism (Verbal), ADHD and Sensory processing challenges
 
Location: Ards Peninsula, Northern Ireland
 
Wage / Salary: Approx. £30,940 - £40,040 per annum gross
 
Driver: Essential - car provided for private use
 
Live In/out: Live-Out or Live-In - Appropriate accommodation will be provided for a single person or a couple locally.
 
Pets: Dogs, horses & farm animals
 
Days & Hours:  
Term time
Monday - Friday - 1pm-8pm each week.
Saturday 8am to 1pm one weekend per month.
Some Flexibility required and occasional overnight to support couples professional and personal schedules.
 
Holidays
Monday – Friday: 8am to 5pm
Saturday 8am to 1pm one weekend per month.
 
Occasionally travelling with the family on holiday will be required.
 
Start Date: End of March / Start of April
 
Who would suit this role:
2+ years of SEN childcare experience (Ideally Autism and/or ADHD)
Kind, caring, fun, and practical (ideally with experience or an interest in rural life, sports/the sea, biking and Tennis)
High-energy level and a sunny disposition
Able to be both calm and attentive
Enjoys talking to B8 about particular interests. Current interests include: historical societies, Vikings/dragons, Minecraft, woodwork/fire/den building, lego.
Someone capable of implementing gentle and supportive boundaries and expectations in a fun and engaging way rather than formal discipline
Can handle challenges and unexpected events throughout the day including last minute changes of plan.
Has the ability to anticipate B8's needs, and needs of other children.
Someone organised who can plan ahead, including independent planning of activities for all the children utilising the abundance of local resources and locations and be prepared for all eventualities.
