Sennie (SEN SPECIALIST/MANNY/NANNY) for B8
 
Additional needs present: ASD, PDA and Possible ADHD, Significant separation anxiety
 
Location: St Helier, Jersey JE2
 
Wage / Salary: From £31,000 per annum gross (As based in Jersey there is a lower tax rate of 9%)
 
Driver: Preferred but non-essential
 
Live in/out: Live-in
 
Pets: Cat
 
Days & Hours:  Approx 30 hours per week
Monday - Friday: 12pm - 5pm
+extra 5 hrs for errands, planning activities, light housework
Occasional babysitting (paid overtime) to be agreed in advance between Family and Sennie.
 
Start Date: ASAP
 
Essential Skills/Traits:  
2+ years SEN Childcare experience
Independent, self-sufficient, and confident using their own initiative during downtime
Patient, gentle, and intuitive
Strong understanding—or willingness to learn about—PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance)
Fun, creative, and flexible
Happy to be home-based
Trust-building and relational.
Able to support attachment needs
Chilled and socially comfortable
Support for home-based education and independence
Tech/Gaming-Savvy or willing to learn
Encouraging real-world experiences
Resilient and emotionally aware
