Excellent Rate Of Pay
As a Sennie you will earn £14 - £20 per hour gross depending on the role and previous experience within SEN childcare.
As an introduction agency we do not employ you so you get to keep 100% of your pay!

SENNIES is run by experienced SEN Nannies and advocates. We created Sennies as a fair, supportive solution to SEN childcare for both families and our Super Sennies. At SENNIES we are here to support you throughout your placement and we aim to create a community of Sennies who can support each other.
The best child carers are always looking to further their skill set and knowledge, however finding the right SEN course, at a fair price, can be difficult without recommendation.
SENNIES have Partnered with SEN specialist
Vicky Brewer who provides both group and bespoke training for our Sennies community at a reduced rate! The majority of SENNIES placements now also come with a free training gift once hired!
You will receive an official SENNIES certificate following any training course taken with SENNIES and some of our partnered courses are accredited!.

We will finalise your application by contacting your references, conduct a Enhanced DBS check and ensure all documents received and information provided is correct.
You will also be required to sign of SENNIES code of conduct.
Sign our SENNIES Code of Conduct
We will use your application form to create your SENNIES profile and ask all of our Sennies to sign our Code of Conduct.
Our SENNIES Profiles allow us to be the perfect matchmakers so ensure you give as much detail regarding your SEN and childcare experience within your application form!
Reference and background checks
We will begin to complete your compliance checks which includes contacting your references, conducting a Enhanced DBS check and ensuring all documents received and information provided is correct.
As of June 2021, we changed our rpocess to suit our entire community and will conduct the 1st interview on a family/clients behalf. Therefore, you will only be invited for a video interview with SENNIES, once you request to be put forward for a role and we believe you would be a great match!
Your first video interview with SENNIES will be longer to cover all of our video interview questions. The following interviews will be specific to the needs of the role you're applying to.
We feedback the results from your interview to the family/client, who then decide if they want to meet with you in person.

Let the matchmaking begin!
We will send your SENNIES PROFILE to the families you are interested in, as long as you meet the requirements. If the family would like to meet with you in peroson, we will send you and the family an introduction email, including contact details so you can arrange a convenient time to meet. We ask that you keep us in the loop for all interviews and trials booked, so we cam arrange the relevant prep and follow up calls with both parties.
We send lots of SENNIES Profiles to each family so we can only get back to Sennies who are invited to an interview.
Families are allowed to request a trial for a maximum of 2 day. All trials are paid at £10 per hour directly to the Sennie.
Once an offer of employment is made, you will sign a contract and officially become employed by the family.
SENNIES is an introductory agency only, we do not employ anyone, however we will offer ongoing support throughout your SENNIES placement!
