to be a super Sennie?

Why find work with us?

Excellent Rate Of Pay

As a Sennie you will earn £15 - £20 per hour gross depending on the role and previous experience within SEN childcare. If you are a qualified specialist we can negotiate a higher rate for you with our families/clients up to £25 per hour gross!

Most roles are pro-rata and offer an annual salary based on your agreed hourly rate. We often support our families in calculating your working hours over the year (including school holidays hours if required) so you are paid the same amount each month but based on your agreed hourly rate.

As an introduction agency, we do not employ you so you get to keep 100% of your pay!

Freedom to be creative

You will work directly with a family/client and be encouraged to use your initiative and creativity to find ways to help the child(ren) you work with, to thrive within society, reach their full potential and build upon their independence.

Supportive community

SENNIES is run by experienced SEN Nannies and advocates. We created Sennies as a fair, supportive solution to SEN childcare for both families and our Super Sennies. At SENNIES we are here to support you throughout your placement and we aim to create a community of Sennies who can support each other.

Training opportunities

The best child carers are always looking to further their skill set and knowledge, however finding the right SEN course, at a fair price, can be difficult without recommendation.

SENNIES now offered Free online, accredited training for all of our registered and placed Sennies!

SENNIES have also Partnered with SEN specialists to provide other incredible training. Click here to see all training currently on offer.

See What Our Sennies Say

I have worked as a SEN Nanny for 10 years and always found roles myself as felt that all agencies cared about was the commission attached!

Then I found SENNIES and I was so happy to see that it was run but other professional SEN Nannies!

Georgia and Elinor generally care about finding you the right family, do not push you into the wrong roles just to fill placements and went above and beyond to ensure my skills and experience were matched to the right family. Thank you Sennies!"
