Essential Skills/Traits:

2+ Years SEN Childcare experience
Strong understanding of early years child development and ability to plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that nurture learning through play.
Confident in developing and maintaining routines tailored to children with additional needs, including sensory regulation and communication strategies.
Calm, patient, and resourceful, with the ability to respond flexibly and positively to challenging situations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to working alongside parents, therapists, and other professionals.
Full, Clean UK driving licence and confident driving with children.
Comfortable with occasional evening and overnight care, as well as international travel several times per year.
Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certification
Organised and reliable, able to balance childcare responsibilities with light nursery duties.
A nurturing, safety-focused approach, ensuring both children feel secure, supported, and inspired to thrive
